Part III – The Truth About Illegals in Our Nation

Have immigrants done harm to anyone here in the US? Aren’t they just here to live out the American Dream? Aren’t they just Dreamers? Unfortunately, as one reporter put it, “Not everyone has melted.” Assimilation is vitally important to a nation of immigrants. That’s why the USA has been referred to as a Melting Pot. Adaption to language, cultural norms, and standards of law are vitally important for a nation of immigrants to succeed.

As Christians, how are we to respond to the questions about illegal immigration? It’s really difficult to pilfer through the definitions, clarifying terms, and crazy statistics all related to illegal aliens, undocumented workers, DACA Dreamers, and refugees. UGH – sometimes it gets to be just too much!

World Relief’s “Welcome the Stranger” video released last month is directed by Jenny Yang. Yang is a staff member at World Relief in charge of their political arm. World Relief lost their way a long time ago and sadly, church organizations around the nation (including SBC), jumped on the WR bandwagon and bought whatever they were selling. Jenny Yang is their hawker of wares for everything immigration. And BIG surprise!! Jenny Yang is a Democrat who supports and lobbies for…wait for it…DACA Dreamers. That’s right! Yang rallied 20 of her closest friends who happen to be labeled “Christian Leaders” and they all put together a hipster video with each of the 20 women, (8 of whom aren’t US citizens and hail from nations with stricter immigration laws than our own, i.e. Canadian Ann Voskamp!), taking Matthew 25:31-46 and blasting those of us who are against illegal immigration and want it stopped; blasting us over our ignorant, non-tolerant, unloving, un-Christlike, hate-filled heads. And each of them walked away feeling better for the experience of “reading Jesus’ words” in a prophetic format. WHATEVER! How many of these women live in gated communities? Do any of them live in cities where illegal aliens are tearing communities apart and destroying safety and infrastructure?

One of my readers, Dan Golvach, sure needs your prayers. Dan has seen personally the havoc illegals have brought to our nation. He wrote me recently, “Google my son Spencer Golvach. He was randomly gunned down at a red light by a 4-time deported illegal alien who had a 15-year rap sheet here and had done five years for attempted murder. These fake Christians [these 20 women] are your enemy. Nowhere in the Bible does it teach to reward mass lawlessness or to coddle people who thumb their noses at the immigration laws that are designed to protect us. These women are treasonous, traitorous snakes. Think that’s harsh? Try looking at your kid’s deflated head in a casket like I did.” My heart breaks for Dan and others like him who have lost loved ones to the senseless and lawless killings by illegal immigrants.

There is an ugly underbelly to illegal immigration that these 20 “Christian Leaders” seem to self-righteously ignore. I think there are those in the Church who want us to see DACA Dreamers as the best and the brightest in America. The media is portraying them as all valedictorians and Medal of Honor recipients, when the truth is quite a different story. World Relief, who, by the way, receives $256 million a year from the federal government’s refugee program, WANTS YOU to BELIEVE that these 800,000 DACA recipients are “real Americans,” better, harder-working, and more law-abiding than native-born Americans. An idea that simply is not true.

Let’s look at the cold hard facts:

The stats on illegal immigrants ages 15-35 (DACA Dreamers) and crime in the USA are staggering. The data, unfortunately, is from only five states (Arizona, Florida, California, New York and Texas), because the Obama Administration ordered that federal statistics on illegals and crime no longer be kept or made available. So, for these five states, the numbers show that 5,416 US citizens are killed each year by illegal aliens between the ages of 15 to 35. That’s the stats for these five states alone! We can only imagine how many thousands more have been murdered by DACA Dreamers in the other 45 states. (Research cited by the Pew Foundation and The Crime Prevention Research Center). There is an entire website focusing on the citizen victims of these illegals:

Between 1985–2017, illegal immigrants in Arizona aged 15-35 were 250 percent more likely to commit crimes than U.S. citizens of the same age, according to the Arizona Department of Corrections. To make matters worse, these illegal immigrants in Arizona were more likely to commit more serious crimes — such as murder, robbery, and sexual assault – than US citizens of the same age. For instance, this same study in Arizona found that illegal immigrants were dramatically more likely to be convicted of a homicide-related offense than either native-born Americans or legal immigrants during that 33-year period. Sounds like they are more guns than roses.

Florida’s State Corrections’ stats estimate that in 2014, 75% of all criminal defendants who were convicted and sentenced for drug offenses were illegal aliens.

Another reader, Susie from Southern California, wrote me last week, “I am a native Southern Californian. The little semi-rural town I live in is overwhelmed with gangs—MS-13, drugs, cartel influence, even trafficking. We cannot get a handle on it! So much from non-existent immigration control. This bleeding-heart video is from women who live in wealth and privilege and likely gated/security. They have no idea what it’s like to live in crime riddled areas. I find the lack of care for the safety of legal and vulnerable citizens to be very telling of this false agenda. That and this is an organization [World Relief] that receives monies from George Soros. That’s enough to make one pause….”

There are 11 million illegal undocumented immigrants in the US today. The majority of these illegals come to the US through the Mexico/US border.

–take low expertise jobs from under skilled US citizens.
–are abused by employers, often treated as slaves, with no legal recourse.
–are afraid to report crime or testify against criminals – even when they are eyewitnesses.
–are 10% of the US prison population whose care is paid for by the US taxpayer.
–are not themselves tax payers, as their income is unreported and undocumented.

This is why American Christians want a wall. This is why American Christians want illegals to follow the laws of the land and to obey the immigration structures put in place to protect our nation and to protect its citizens. Jesus said we are to render to Caesar what is Caesar’s. That’s not just taxes, that is honor, respect, obedience. What were Jesus’ words telling us when He said, “If the military asks you to carry their equipment one mile, carry it two!” He is saying that we are to obey those in authority over us and to not just obey the law (every Roman soldier had the right to ask citizens to carry their equipment), but to do even more than the law required. Peter, Paul, and James all write to us in the New Testament and tell us to obey the leaders put in authority over us. Why? So that we may live in peace in the land–Ephesians 6:3.

You can’t get much clearer than Romans 13: 1-5, “All of you must yield to the government rulers. No one rules unless God has given him the power to rule, and no one rules now without that power from God. So those who are against the government are really against what God has commanded. And they will bring punishment on themselves. Those who do right do not have to fear the rulers; only those who do wrong fear them. Do you want to be unafraid of the rulers? Then do what is right, and they will praise you. The ruler is God’s servant to help you. But if you do wrong, then be afraid. He has the power to punish; he is God’s servant to punish those who do wrong. So you must yield to the government, not only because you might be punished, but because you know it is right. This is also why you pay taxes. Rulers are working for God and give their time to their work. Pay everyone, then, what you owe. If you owe any kind of tax, pay it. Show respect and honor to them all.” This is written by a guy who was living under an occupied government. Rome was occupying Israel!! If it is true for Paul, it certainly is true for those of us living in a Republic! Right?!?

Whew. Yes. There’s more…

Now what about those refugees? Beth Moore and all those sweet Christian women are really talking about those poor refugees. Have you seen the letter written to the President and published in the Washington Post? You have to see this,

Take a look at every single name that signed this letter. Read their names and as you do I want you to consider this:

November 5, 2009Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major and psychiatrist, fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 in Fort Hood, Texas. Hasan was born in the U.S. to Palestinian parents who sought asylum here. Nidal attended the same mosque in Roanoke, VA, as two of the 9/11 hijackers. In fact, both of those hijackers attended Nidal’s mother’s funeral in May of 2001.

April 15, 2013Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev were ethnic Chechnian by way of Kyrgyzstan. The boys’ parents, Ansor and Zubeidat Tsarnaev, were refugees/asylum seekers. Their parents were allowed into the US on tourist visas, but because their nation was “war-torn” they were able to claim asylum. Once the parents got their green cards, the boys were brought to the US through the “Family-Based Migration” visa program. These brothers were responsible for the Boston Marathon Bombings that killed three people and injured several hundred others, including 16 who lost limbs. These brothers are important examples when discussing chain immigration.

December 2, 2015Syed Rizwan Farook killed 14 people and wounded 22 others in San Bernardino, CA. Farook was the child of refugee/political asylum seeker Syed Farook, Sr., who came to the US as a tourist, then claimed persecution in Pakistan because of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s populist Pakistan Peoples Party. Farook Sr. received permanent residency as a refugee/asylum seeker.

Syed Rizwan Farook was not alone. His Pakistan-born wife, Tashfeen Malik, came to the US on a CHAIN MIGRATION VISA, also called “Family-Based Migration” visa that allows permanent residence to people whose family members are naturalized citizens of the US.

July 16, 2015Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez opened fire on two military installations in Chattanooga, TN, killing five Marines and wounding two others. Abdulazeez, a naturalized U.S. citizen, was born in Kuwait to Palestinian-Jordanian parents. He and his family came to the US as refugees.

September 17, 2016Dahir A. Adan committed a mass stabbing at the Crossroads Center Mall in St. Cloud, MN, injuring 10 people. Adan was a Somali refugee and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2008.

September 20, 2016Ahmad Khan Rahimi – Over the course of three days, three bombs exploded and several explosive devices were found in New Jersey and New York City, injuring at least 30 people. Rahimi was an Afghan refugee, through the chain immigration program, his father, Mohammed Rahami, sought asylum here and then became a naturalized citizen (there is some confusion over when Rahami or his family were officially granted legal residency in the country; paperwork and legal documents are missing and the exact time of their application and approval are unknown–perfect example of the lousy vetting done on refugees).

November 28, 2016Abdul Razal Ali Artan carried out an attack on Ohio State University’s campus by driving his vehicle into pedestrians injuring 13. Artan, a student of the university, was a refugee from Somalia. He plowed his car into a campus crowd, jumped out of the vehicle and began stabbing people with a butcher knife; 11 injured, 1 critically. Artan was killed. Artan came to the US with six family members as refugees in 2014.

June 12, 2016Omar Mateen was the Florida night club mass shooter. Omar’s father immigrated to the US from Afghanistan, but no one knows how he got to the US or how he got citizenship. Paperwork on this family is not available. Again, paperwork is missing. Mateen Sr. is pro-Taliban and supports terrorist activities online via videos he posts on his own website as well as YouTube. Omar Matten Jr. killed 49 people in the night club shooting and injured 58. Mateen’s father still lives in Florida.

January 6, 2017Esteban Ruiz Santiago – A mass shooter at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in January, 2017. Five people were killed and six injured. Santiago, the shooter, was born to Puerto Rican immigrant parents in New Jersey.

October 31, 2017 – The Uzbekistan native Sayfullo Saipov went on a deadly truck rampage on a New York City bike path killing eight people and injuring 11. Saipov entered the United States in 2010 under a lottery immigrant visa. The lottery visa is exactly what it sounds like. The program was designed by Senator Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) in 1990. The program allows 50,000 permanent resident visas to be issued EACH YEAR by the luck of the draw. The recipients are issued a permanent resident visa based on their names being drawn from a hat—an electronic hat these days. They become eligible for a green card and eventually citizenship which then allows them to apply for “Family-Based Migration” visas. Saipov was able to bring 23 family members to the US on unlimited chain migration visas. They are still here.

For a full explanation of the lottery program visit this link:

One dozen terrorists committing nine attacks in eight years leaving 97 US citizens dead, 444 injured, and over 20 individuals maimed by loss of limbs.

I want the Shane Claiborns, and Beth Moores and Bill Hybells and Max Lucados and Ann Voskamps and all the other “Christian Leaders” who signed the World Relief open letter to President Trump to read the names and ages of each of these US citizens who has suffered at the hands of a refugee/asylum seeker who entered this nation under the false pretense of wanting safety and protection – these who entered this nation to do harm because of hatred and the violent theology they adhere to. These innocent citizens should have been protected. Our government failed them and chose the bleeding-heart rhetoric of “Welcoming the Stranger” over the common sense practices of strict immigration laws and proper vetting. Our nation needs immigration reform. We need a wall to protect our borders.

Here is a list of the names of thousands of US citizens who have been killed by illegals here in our nation:

I’m not against immigration. I don’t know any Americans who are. I AM opposed to illegal immigration. I believe people should take the time to go through the proper channels. I believe the Bible wholeheartedly, but being the Church and being a nation are two different things (i.e. freedom of religion). I am certain that each of these Christian leaders locks his or her door at night. (That’s a border and that is wisdom). In addition, think of the immigrant: illegals are 47% more likely to be held in slavery, taken advantage of, and not being paid a living wage. Legal immigrants have the laws of the land to help them with any injustices. I would like to ask each of these so-called Christian leaders how many illegal aliens have they brought into their homes? How many have they housed, fed, clothed, and educated? Because that is at the heart of the Scripture they are all touting – Matthew 25.

There is a micro and a macro application of Scripture to all of life – a personal application (as Christ’s commanded His followers) that isn’t a governance principle or meant for matters of State. Remember, Jesus lived under Roman rule and occupation. I believe it is very wrong to use one’s position, Scripture, and virtue signaling to guilt people into what truly is a political agenda. It is manipulation at its worst. I am saddened that thousands of men and women across the US who follow these Christian leaders will buy this guilt–hook, line, and sinker. Remember too folks, if the immigration reform bill gets passed, World Relief will lose over $1 billion in US federal funding. I call that a conflict of interest. World Relief is not taking a stand on Scripture or calling the Church to be holy. They are “guilting” American evangelical conservatives into buying their agenda. The whole thing grieves me. I’m afraid this time I cannot end my post with “peace.”

Enlistment of Chrisian leaders as DACA enthusiasts comes straight out of Saul Alinksy’s playbook in Rules for Radicals. DACA enthusiasm feeds conflict and creates new victim classes as soldiers in the fight for a socialist future. No doubt there are DACA enthusiasts whose motive is purely Christian compassion but they arent the prime movers of the movement.

What’s that verse regarding those who teach/reach being held to a higher standard when they lead others astray?? Truly the wheat is being separated from the chaff. Disappointing but none of it surprises me.

I didn’t watch the wedding, but now I’m curious to see if I would have picked up on anything.

What I think is interesting is that a prophetic friend had a dream she took as a call to pray for the wedding and marriage.

I wonder if she received it because the person officiating the covenant doesn’t believe in marriage as a holy union to begin with.
